Project Overview
This bespoke new-build family home has been designed by Oracle Architects as a long-term “forever home,” carefully tailored to our client’s lifestyle and aspirations. Appointed across RIBA Stages 0–5, we have led the project from initial concept through to its current construction phase.
Our design approach is centred on a series of simple pitched forms, creating a composition that feels both contemporary and grounded in familiar residential language. A central double-height entrance defines the arrival experience, while large glazed gables maximise natural light and frame views to the surrounding landscape.
A restrained and carefully considered material palette underpins the external character. Vertical timber cladding adds warmth and texture, complemented by natural stone and light render, creating a balanced and enduring architectural expression.
Internally, Oracle Architects have developed a layout that supports modern family life, combining generous open-plan living spaces with more intimate, private areas. The design prioritises daylight, spatial quality, and a strong relationship between the home and its setting.
Construction commenced in November 2025 and is currently progressing on site. Oracle Architects remain closely involved during this stage, working alongside the contractor and consultant team to ensure the design is delivered with clarity, care, and attention to detail.
